Happy Birthday, Wolfy! Today would have been your sixth birthday. Daddy and I each lit a special candle to honor your life. We miss you so much!
Update... Wolfy is now
sleeping with the angels at Rainbow Bridge. I miss my little
guy so much. Please stay and read his story, and you are welcome
to read my last special entry about Wolfy here.
Welcome to Wolfy's online diary. The moment I saw Wolfy for
the first time, I fell completely and utterly in love with
him. He was gorgeous, and so white - almost glowing. His eyes
were a mesmerizing turquoise color, and all I can remember
thinking was that he looked like a little angel here on earth.
Little did I know that day, in May of 2000 when we adopted
him, what an angel he truly was. He is the love of my life.
I have always seen something special in Wolfy's eyes. He makes
expressions, and he always seems to have this *knowing* look
in his eyes. I think he has a very old, wise soul. I think,
inside, that Wolfy is more than just a cute little cat. Perhaps
he is the spirit of someone else, maybe someone I knew, maybe
someone I never knew, or will know someday. I don't care if
that sounds crazy. Wolfy has such a strong spirit, he is such
a fighter, and there is something very ethereal about him.
At first I thought I was here to help him...but now I wonder,
maybe he is really here to help me. Either way, I definitely
think that there is a reason why Wolfy and I are together.
I knew when I adopted Wolfy that he had a heart murmur, and
later found out he has Tetralogy of Fallot. That was totally
ok with me. I had recently lost a kitten to Cardiomyopathy,
so the idea of having a kitten that I could give a great,
loving, safe home to, appealed to me very much.
Wolfy's breeders are terrific people and I have stayed in
touch with them since Wolfy came to live with us. They have
been wonderfully supportive and caring and that means the
world to me.
Please read the about
section to find out about Wolfy's illness, and the diary
section will give detailed entries of his ups and downs, hi's
and lo's. This cat has the spirit of a dragon, and the face
of an angel. Check out his photo's and you'll see what I mean.
:-)
If you have a cat with Tetralogy of Fallot, I hope Wolfy's
web site will help you and give you support. That is the main
reason for this site. I welcome anyone to email me with any
questions or comments you may have.
With love and purrs,
